Global wachsen – Als Teil der RGP-Group bietet taskforce Unternehmen zahlreiche Möglichkeiten der internationalen Zusammenarbeit Fragen an Kate Duchene, CEO von RGP – Resources Global Professionals, Inc.

Since joining RGP in 1999 as the Company’s first corporate counsel, Kate Duchene has operated in numerous executive roles – Legal, Corporate Secretary, Human Resources, Marketing and RGP Legal. As CEO she is responsible for the operating business of RGP since 2016. Founded in 1996, today, RGP is a publicly traded company with over 3,300 professionals, annually serving over 1,800 clients around the world from 72 practice offices.

Which are the global trends that are currently shaping the market?

One of the most profound trends impacting the market is digital transformation -- the impact of integrating technologies across all facets of a business to accelerate sales and growth and better serve the its constituencies. Our clients need agile specialized talent to help them achieve these innovations – whether it is program/project management, change management, functional work stream leads or other implementation support. Firms who do this right will prosper and those who fail to keep up may be left behind.

What strategy does RGP pursue as a reaction to the above-mentioned trends?

RGP is well positioned to assist firms with digital transformation initiatives. From robust project and change management capabilities to deep and hands-on expertise in the specific areas of the business that are being impacted by change, to offerings in RPA, data governance and data analytics, we inherently possess many of the components a successful execution effort would require. We are also evolving our own service delivery platform to embrace digitalization in how we will continue to engage with clients and employees.

In the summer of 2017, RGP acquired taskforce – Management on Demand. How does this investment meet RGP’s strategic direction?

An industry leader in the German market within the realm of senior interim and project management, taskforce enabled RGP to boost its presence in the vital German and European markets and offer its broader suite of solution capabilities to the existing and growing taskforce client base. taskforce serves a middle market client base which is a focus of growth for RGP in all global markets. The strong cultural alignment between RGP and taskforce has served us well through our integration efforts and as we continue to develop our broadened go-to-market strategies. We are also excited to explore what we can translate from the successful taskforce business model into other geographies.

What is the additional value for clients of RGP as well as clients of taskforce that results from the acquisition of taskforce by RGP?

As a global brand, we want to help clients optimize how work is accomplished. The future of work will be technology enabled, automated, diverse and project- rather than role-oriented. We have to be prepared for these future market dynamics. We can be better prepared by operating together.  We have different strengths and can address different segments of the market opportunity. taskforce brings a significant network of experts and operators, while RGP has traditionally operated in the project execution space. Together we can be a more powerful force for our clients who will increasingly care about delivering business results with speed, agility and relevant knowledge workers.

Thank you for sharing some of your thoughts with us, Kate!
