Dr. Martin Kurpjoweit

With more than 30 years of professional experience in the chemical industry as well as in the supply chain for the automotive and electronics industry, Dr. Kurpjoweit is now involved in supervisory boards as well as in consulting for acquisition projects and transformation processes as well as in the training of young managers.

After studying chemistry with a doctorate in electrochemistry, he began his career in research and development at Schering AG. He held positions at home and abroad in sales, product management and as head of research at Atotech, formerly part of the Total Group, where he held top global management roles. After 19 years, he moved from there to the family-owned company WHW Hillebrand in Wickede in 2009, which he and the owner managed for twelve years as directors. He is still associated with the company today in a consulting capacity.

Dr. Kurpjoweit has extensive experience in the corporate structures of a multinational company and in a classic German medium-sized business. In addition, his background of experience is marked by the times when he was responsible for innovation management and the development of new business areas.
