Indian Workforce Expresses Optimism About the Impact of AI, BCG Survey Finds

India emerges as one of the three most optimistic countries regarding the impact of AI on work, according to a BCG survey of over 12,800 employees in 18 countries. In India, 60.1% of respondents ranked optimism as one of their top two sentiments about AI's impact, and 72.8% believe the rewards of generative AI outweigh the risks.
Despite their optimism, 87.7% of Indian respondents believe their job is likely to be transformed by AI, and 88.8% believe AI-specific regulation is necessary.
